Dallas McCarthy is a 14-year-old who went the wrong way. Unfortunately, his father, Cal, is not exactly a positive example, but the boy idolizes him. Cal is a cheater, going from one billiard room to another, fooling people into taking their money. He goes into business with a dubious gang, and his debts continue to rise.
