A young woman gives up her job as a teacher to be a governess for a young girl who inherited her parents’ fortune, along with her brother, and who witnessed the tragic death of her parents. Shortly after arriving at the house, the girl’s degenerate brother is sent home from the boarding school where he studied. The governess goes through some strange and inexplicable experiences in the house and begins to suspect that the children’s story hides something, along with the house in which they live.
