When a boy’s genius IQ begins to change him in frightening ways, his parents and doctors wonder if his talent is natural or if another mysterious force is involved. Sarah, a mother worried about his son’s disturbing behavior, begins to think that something supernatural can affect him. Fearing for the safety of her family, Sarah has to struggle with her maternal instinct to love and protect her son, Miles, in favor of the desperate need to investigate what, or who, causes her dark transformation. She has to look for answers in the past, starting on a wild journey, one in which the boundary between perception and reality becomes frighteningly unclear.
