Margot Mills and her partner Tyler take a boat to Hawthorne, an exclusive restaurant owned by famous chef Julian Slowik located on a private island. The other guests who dine there are food critic Lillian, her editor Ted, a wealthy couple Richard and Anne, a movie star named George and his personal assistant Felicity. The group is taken on a tour of the island, and guide Elsa notices that Margot is not Tyler’s previously assigned companion. As time goes on, secrets about each guest – from money laundering to love affairs – begin to surface.
