In the desperate final days of World War II, a lone prospector crosses paths with the Nazis as they retreat from the wastelands of northern Finland. When the Nazis steal his gold, he quickly discovers that he has messed with an unusual miner. Although there is no direct translation for the Finnish word “sisu”, this legendary former commander will embody what sisu stands for: a form of unwavering courage and unimaginable determination in the face of overwhelming odds.
