When Edna, a widowed grandmother, disappears, her daughter Kay and niece Sam return to the family home to help find her. Edna will be found in a few days, but she is not able to give any explanation about the places where she went while she was away. Given the strange behavior of her age, Kay decides to look for a place in a nursing home for her mother. But strange things begin to happen in the house and Kay and Sam will discover that a sinister presence haunts the house.
