John Cleaver helps his mother during autopsies in the family funeral home. Obsessed with monsters and serial killers, he feels deep within him that he could succumb to his murderous thoughts overnight. It is then that a series of murders shakes the small town where he lives and revives his impulses. A real monster has landed in the neighborhood and although the pursuit of it may be his end, John decides to hunt him down. After all, who better placed to understand a serial killer than a secretly sociopathic teenager?
