Tom Harris, a freelance undercover agent working for the CIA, is assigned to sabotage an Iranian nuclear research facility. At the same time, a British journalist receives evidence of CIA involvement in Iran’s nuclear programs. Tom’s mission is successful, but the journalist is arrested. While in Dubai, Tom meets with his CIA superior and accepts a new assignment in Afghanistan. However, news of his involvement in the destruction of the facility puts him in danger. Tom and his translator, Mo, are being pursued by Iranian and Pakistani agents. They seek help from an Afghan warlord and later discover a betrayal. Tom’s superior joins ISIS, and a series of events lead to a final confrontation with their followers.
