While on a visit to Hong Kong, the young IP master observes a kidnapping attempt and cannot stand aside so he intervenes to help the victim. Without wanting this, he triggers a real war against a brutal human trafficking organization with his gesture. In retaliation for meddling in their problems, the organized crime group kidnaps one of IP Man’s closest friends. Left with no choice, IP Man must find a way to save those close to him, so he challenges the organization’s famous boxing champion to a one-on-one match.
