A sci-fi psychological thriller, Freaks (2019) follows the story of a brave little girl who discovers a bizarre, threatening and mysterious world beyond the door of her house, after escaping from her father’s overprotective and paranoid control. In an ingenious and powerful story, a troubled father locks up his 7-year-old daughter in a house, warning her of the serious dangers in the outside world, trying desperately to protect her from Mr. Snowcone and any other potential dangers. However, the mysterious Mr. Snowcone convinces little Chloe to escape and join him in a deep search for family ties, freedom and revenge. Accompanying him on his mission, Chloe discovers a different, enigmatic and challenging world.
