Driving home after a tense vacation with his in-laws, Ray Monroe, his wife Joanne and daughter Peri, make a stop in a rest area, where the child falls and fractures his arm. The family goes to the nearest hospital, and after a few hours of travel, their daughter finally gets taken care of by a doctor. While Joanne accompanies her daughter for a few investigations, Ray, exhausted, falls asleep in one of the chairs where his wife is waiting with information about the severity of the injuries. When he wakes up, the nightmare begins. His wife and daughter are gone, and the hospital finds no trace of Ray’s family in the unit. After being sent for further tests, Peri and Joanne disappear and all records of their visit evaporate. Ray’s care turns into a desperate race to find his family and discover the truth about what really happened to them.
