The famous architect Billy and his wife Ingrid have been a couple for many years and have two daughters together. One of them recently graduated from law school, Sofia, and the other, Cora, is an aspiring and rebellious fashion designer. Their marriage is going through a bad period and the two go to couples counseling sessions. There, Ingrid tells Billy that she is tired of him working all the time and that he is very stubborn. She informs him that she wants a divorce. The counselor advises them to inform their daughters immediately. Before telling them that they are getting a divorce, Sofia first informs them that she is engaged and will marry a fellow lawyer named Adan in a month. Thus, Ingrid and Billy agree to postpone the divorce news for one more month.
