When Alita (Rosa Salazar) wakes up remembered who she is in a future world she does not recognize, she is taken by Ido (Christoph Waltz), a benevolent doctor who realizes that somewhere in this body the abandoned cyborg is the heart and soul of a young woman with an extraordinary past. As Alita learns to live his new life on Iron’s famed streets, Ido tries to protect her from her mysterious past while her new friend, Hugo (Keean Johnson), helps her regain her memory. But when the deadly and corrupt forces that lead the city come after Alita, she discovers a clue from her past – she has unique fighting skills that nothing can stop her. If they could master these abilities, it could be saving friends, family and the world they grew up in.
