Zootropolis 2
Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde are back at it again! This time, the rookie cop duo—a bunny and a fox—are dealing with a big mess in Zootopia. It all kicks off when a sneaky snake named Gary De’Snake shows up and causes chaos in their bustling animal city. Judy and Nick have to dive into parts of town they’ve never explored before and go undercover to crack the case. Their teamwork is about to be tested harder than ever.
This movie jumps right back into action where the first one ended, continuing the story of our favorite crime-solving pair. Remember that massive mystery they solved nearly ten years ago? Yep, this picks up after all that excitement. Incredibly cool CGI animation has come such a long way since then.
Brought to you by some top talents like Jared Bush, who worked on Moana, and Byron Howard from Encanto fame, they’ve put together an awesome sequel that’s fun for both kids and adults. We meet new faces here too, like the snake Gary De’Snake and a beaver called Nibbles Maplestick—talk about diversity at its finest with 178 characters!
Get ready for scenes packed with thousands of animals; it’s like something you’d see in a giant action-packed Hollywood flick! Plus, there’s a bunch of clever nods to other films that older viewers will get a kick out of. If you’re into those little Easter eggs referencing classics like The Shining or even Ratatouille’s famous mouse…you’re in for a treat!
This movie is a fun and chaotic ride with a bunch of silly moments and clever jokes happening all at once. The story packs tons of visual gags and witty wordplay that make you chuckle unexpectedly. Like, there’s this search engine called “Zoogle” or a video platform named “EweTube,” which sounds hilarious, right?
You’ll find characters who are animals but act like humans. Picture Mayor Brian Winddancer with his fabulous mane styled just like bleached hair! It’s all about that funny mix between being wild animals and showing human-like behavior. Imagine an animal debating whether to follow their instincts or think things through, it can lead to some pretty laugh-worthy situations.
The places in the movie are as diverse as they come—the original Zootopia already had cool spots like Sahara Square and Little Rodentia. Now they’ve added Lynxley Manor, where this big fancy event called the Zootenario Gala happens. It’s packed with eye-catching scenes and loads of giggles for everyone watching!
Swamp Market is back, and it’s another chance for the animators to go wild with a bunch of semi-aquatic animals. There are some hilarious bits, especially when the Police Chief Bogo insists that the bunny and fox duo join this group therapy session called “Partners in Crisis.” It’s run by this quirky newcomer named Dr. Fuzzby. Oh, and there’s also Gazelle (the pop star Shakira) who belts out a tune during the credits—definitely stick around for that extra scene at the end! Just like before, this sequel dives into how different personalities can both clash and click, showing us that sometimes true love blossoms between complete opposites.
