A group of friends, traveling on the Appalachian route, are confronted by the “Foundation”, a community of people who have lived in the mountains for hundreds of years. Despite the warnings, the hikers cross the lands inhabited by the Foundation, a hidden community of mountain dwellers who use deadly means to protect their way of life. Suddenly under siege, Jen and her friends seem to be heading for the point of no return – unless Jen’s father can arrive on time.
