The story of the dramatic events in the life of Francisco Boix, a Spanish press photographer and a Communist who decided to flee to France at the beginning of the Second World War. But once here, he woke up in the famous concentration camp Mauthausen, where he tried to convince hundreds of other prisoners like him to revolt. More than half of them have lost their lives in the camp. Through a strange twist of fate, Francisco becomes the confidant of a Soviet officer come to investigate the deaths here. Boix realizes he has a chance to prove the many war crimes committed by the Nazis, stealing the negatives of the officer’s photographs.
