James Coffee is a pretty idiot cop and … cheating. Coffee has recently entered into a relationship with a single mother with a baby … of color. Their relationship is complicated, however, when the woman’s child, Kareem, a chubby 12-year-old, very guttural, but friendly and caretaker, with gangsta “smokes”, discovers that his mother and Coffee are more intimate than he imagined. In his mind of a grown-up kid in a famed, high-crime neighborhood, Kareem wants to respect the cop. So he wants to hire an escaped prisoner (also escaped by Coffee’s fault) to keep his mother’s concubine well.
