They were known simply as “lost boys”. Children orphaned by the brutal civil war that broke out in Sudan in 1983 traveled thousands of kilometers on foot to look for a safe place in which to live his life. Fifteen years later, humanitarian efforts will bring 3,600 children, boys and girls in America. The Good Lie film presents the life of some of these children, four exactly who were brought to America, but one of them was sent to a country other than the other three. The film shows their struggle for survival and triumph in life as his efforts to find each other.
