Hongi, a boy tribal chiefs, is the witness of an act of contempt committed upon his fellows from Wirepa, son of a rival captains. Wirepa blames Hongi, but his father did not grudge, and when Wirepa leaves it becomes evident that a war between the two tribes is inevitable. But it never goes home Wirepa. His ambition is bigger and more selfish than that. He wants glory. Personal glory. Thus, he is attacking the tribe of Hongi during the night, when all are asleep. The next day, he learns that his father Hongi was killed and his aunt blames him for the spent. Hongi is now determined to turn things around and somehow get revenge on Wirepa as to bring honor to his tribe.
